Basic Pistol Course for Ohio concealed carry taught by NRA-certified instructors. The fee covers range time, materials you keep, and food for the day.
We cover basic pistol instruction, safe gun handling, safe gun storage, ammunition malfunctions, a basic review of Ohio CCW laws, and many other topics pertaining to conceal carry. You will take a written test and must demonstrate safe gun handling before you practice supervised live-fire exercises. Certificate of competency will be issued after passing all requirements required by the Ohio Attorney General.

You will practice supervised live-fire exercises on our spectacular 21 Gun Salute Range® or 5 Star Gun Range™.
Class begins at 10:00 am and takes 8 to 9 hours to complete. Pizza is provided for lunch. If you have food allergies or food sensitivity to dairy or gluten, please feel free to pack a lunch and bring it. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and soft beverages.
Requirements:
- Requires 100-150 rounds of ammunition. (Bring your own or buy our competitively priced ammo here).
- Requires a handgun. (Bring your own gun, or we will lend you a suitable rental gun – free when you buy ammo here.)
